This Friday, the President of the Republic announced a government decree that changes the Social Security disability verification system, but stressed the importance of ensuring access to the processes of the medical verification commissions.
In a note published on the president’s website, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa drew attention to the diploma, which changes the system of certification of disability within the framework of social security.
The head of state recalled “the importance of ensuring that social security medical disability review boards have access to the medical records of beneficiaries in the National Health Service, which is located in the health information network.”
