Speaking to reporters, José Luis Carneiro highlighted the “important improvements in pay and working conditions” of the security forces, “a path that should continue in the next legislature.”
“An important step has been taken to replenish the security forces and these efforts must continue in the future,” the official added. Since the government is in control, “there are no conditions for new commitments,” he explained.
