The deadline to file nominations for the March 10 special legislative elections expires this Monday.
The major parties have already globally approved their lists of parliamentary candidates, which must be delivered locally to the district courts of each of the constituencies or constituencies, and this process ends today.
After the nominations are presented, the next day the judge begins compiling lists to put them in order on the ballot papers and within two days checks the authenticity of the documents and the suitability of the candidates.
Also to this day, parties and coalitions must submit their respective electoral budget to the Political Accounting and Financing Authority in accordance with the law on the financing of parties and electoral campaigns.
According to the calendar map of the National Electoral Commission (CNE), voters who intend to vote in advance in the mobility mode must express this intention between February 25 and 29 and will be able to exercise this right on March 3, the Sunday before the election.
The map with the distribution of 230 deputies in 22 constituencies depending on the number of voters has already been published and includes a change compared to previous legislative ones: the Setubal circle will elect one more deputy, and the Viana-Castelo Circle will elect one less.
