In 2022, there were 1,421 dating violence crimes across all age groups, with 244 victims under the age of 24.
From this Wednesday to Sunday, GNR is developing an awareness and prevention campaign to encourage all young people to report and not accept any form of psychological, emotional, physical, social or sexual abuse.
The campaign also aims to raise awareness about eliminating violence and all forms of aggression in dating relationships, especially among young people, where such behavior occurs early and is easier to avoid in the future.
“It is important to sensitize young people about the importance of healthy relationships based on principles and values such as self-respect, respect and tolerance, which are the basis of dating relationships, promoting an anti-violence culture through awareness-raising,” refers to the GNR.
