A 17-year-old boy was arrested by the Judicial Police (PO) of Setúbal for raping his 10-year-old sister in a room they shared in the family home in the municipality of Moita. The crimes took place on the night of 16/17 and 22/23 January.
The son of the same mother as the victim, but from a different father, the young man in both cases had sexual intercourse with a minor. Last week, the girl spoke about the suffering she went through to a colleague, who immediately alerted the teacher. PSP Escola Segura agents were called to the school and the investigation was transferred to the PJ in Setúbal.
The suspect was arrested on Thursday and the next day the criminal judge of the Barreiro Court placed him in pre-trial detention.
