A man aged about 35 was found dead in a tourist apartment located in a gated community next to Albufeira’s marina. The victim, according to CM It is established that he has British citizenship and will be holidaying with another man, whose whereabouts authorities are trying to trace. It was this second person who called for help, but when emergency services arrived at the scene, the victim was lying alone on the floor of the room.
The friend reportedly left the tourist complex and left the area. Firefighters and INEM eventually rescued the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Polish People’s Republic was warned and blocked access to the apartment.
The judicial police have been called and are conducting an investigation. An autopsy will be important to determine the cause of death.
