The proposal for a global strategy presented by CDS-PP President Nuno Melo, called “Tempo de Crescer”, was unanimously approved at the 31st Party Congress, which ends this Sunday in Viseu.
“The proposal was approved unanimously,” announced Congress President José Manuel Rodríguez, saying he had not recorded a single vote against or abstention.
The vote on the global strategy proposal, a document which aims to “establish the overall orientation of the party”, was held with hands raised.
Another proposal submitted to Congress by the People’s Youth, entitled “Securing the Future”, was withdrawn. This was stated by the Secretary General of the structure representing youth from the CDS-PP, Tomas Amaro Monteiro.
