A clogged drain has become a nightmare for a British family. A mixture of faeces and toilet paper overflowed the toilet and destroyed the bathroom, living room and new kitchen of a London home. We’re talking about a blockage in the upstairs neighbor’s drain. The family was first surprised by the fecal mixture on March 17th. To resolve the situation, plumbers pumped out the drain from the house and unblocked the blockages. However, the episode repeated itself, and even the towels the family used to soak up the mixture were not enough to prevent the destruction of some rooms in the house.
“I spent so much time renovating the house and it’s heartbreaking to see it completely destroyed,” the owner said. She says the main cause of blockages is due to wet wipes being flushed down toilets: “I know the local council has sent out letters to people to inform them of the dangers of throwing away those wet wipes, but they are not listening. See you soon. There have been people knocking at the door and still didn’t listen to them – you can’t raise people like that,” he added.
