An explosion this morning in a garage in Turiz, Vila Verde, damaged 11 houses and destroyed two cars. One person was treated at the scene. The municipal road on which the houses are located is blocked.
The cause could be a gas leak. According to CM As it became known, the shock wave from the explosion was felt at a distance of about three kilometers.
“Let me tell you that perhaps related to today, May 13, a miracle happened here,” said Vila Verde Fire Chief Luis Morais.
The alarm came at 2:13 am. There were 16 militants on the scene, supported by nine vehicles from the Vila Verde Fire Department, GNR and INEM.
