The XV Regional Government of Madeira will be composed of seven regional secretariats, one less than the previous executive body, with one incumbent leaving and the rest remaining, President-designate of the Government of Madeira Miguel Albuquerque (PSD) announced on Tuesday.
“Idea […] is to maintain the government with the same holders, since, given the circumstances and the need to have a government that acts as quickly as possible, it is necessary to have secretaries with the experience already on file,” said Miguel Albuquerque.
The President-designate spoke to reporters after meeting with the representative of the Republic of Madeira, Ireneu Barreto, at the Palacio de São Lourenço in Funchal, to whom he officially handed over the list of members of the new executive, which remains in force. practically the same, with the exception of the regional secretariat for the economy, the sea and fisheries, led by Rui Barreto, who has now disappeared.
