“He killed a man”: driver pursues man who hit woman in Matosinhos

A man already registered for murder was arrested this Thursday by the PSP in Sant Mamede de Infesta, Matosinhos, after he killed his partner by running over him.

The victim filed the complaint in May last year after she was attacked by the suspect. Daniela, 37, Venezuelan, was attacked while leaving work.

The attacker was driving a car, drove onto the sidewalk and ran over the woman at least three times. He left her dead at the scene and fled, pursued by members of the public.

ABOUT CM had access to video taken by the driver who chased the attacker until he managed to stop him, and contacted the authorities for help.

The man was intercepted and transferred to PSP custody near the São João Hospital in Porto.

He declined to identify himself, but says he has already served ten years for murder. The first interrogation will take place this Friday.
