A 42-year-old man was arrested by the Aveiro Judicial Police for sexually assaulting his two minor daughters, aged 13 and 14. The crimes occurred in Agueda while the suspect, who does not have custody of the minors, was temporarily living with the victims. He took advantage of the moments to subject his two daughters to various sexual acts.
“The man took advantage of the modesty of the house and took advantage of his dominance over minors, resulting from the parental authority inherent in the family relationship between them,” the judicial police said in a statement.
The suspect has been charged with several crimes related to aggravated child sexual abuse. He appeared in court having been placed in preventive detention and prevented from communicating with his two minor daughters.
