Ministry and prison guards agree to increase mission allowance by 300 euros

The Justice Ministry and prison guards’ unions reached an agreement on Wednesday to increase the mission bonus by 300 euros, with a “closed agreement” to be signed soon, a government source said.

Justice Minister Rita Alarcán Judice presented a proposal very similar to the one presented by the Ministry of Internal Administration to the PSP unions and the GNR associations, which is based on 200 euros starting this month, plus 50 euros in January 2025 and another 50 euros in January 2026, for a total increase of 300 euros.

The same source told Lusa that the document was being prepared and would be signed by the three unions present at the meeting: the National Union of Prison Guards (SNCGP), the Trade Union Association of Prison Guard Managers and the Independent Union of Prison Guards. Corps prison.
