This Monday, the health minister was able to listen to around 600 doctors who signed an open letter calling for an agreement in the negotiations and expressed their willingness to take an approach “within the limits of what is realistic.”
“Negotiations are exactly like that. Every time we take a step forward, we try to find solutions,” the minister said, adding that the Health Ministry is ready to approach “within the framework of what is realistic and taking into account the capabilities it has,” taking into account the demands of doctors.
In an open letter published on Saturday, about 600 doctors said they would not work overtime beyond what was required by law unless a deal was reached in negotiations with unions.
