The prosecutor’s office requested preventive detention, a more serious measure, but the criminal judge in Evora decided to apply measures consisting of presentations to the authorities every two weeks, as well as a prohibition on approaching and contacting the victim.
Miguel Bravo was arrested on Saturday in his dressing room before going on stage in Porto Alto. On Monday, shortly after 2 p.m., he entered the Criminal Court of Evora, accompanied by two inspectors of the judicial police.
The popular artist reportedly offered the victim 100 euros for a video of sexual acts. The messages, which the girl’s mother had access to, contain strong sexual content, videos of explicit sexual practices, and Miguel Bravo encourages the minor to send him a video of her fondling herself, and it is in this situation that he offers money to the child, whose family he knows.
The case currently involves six crimes: three of child sexual abuse; and three of petty pornography. But there may be more victims. Miguel Bravo’s phone investigations may be crucial in identifying other victims.
