Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Monday that the army must be prepared for “all options,” including “quickly moving to attack” if Iran attacks Israeli territory.
The warning comes as Iran vows to avenge the death of Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) political leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was shot dead after attending the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s new president, Masoud Pezeshian, in Tehran, an attack authorities attribute to Israeli forces.
During a visit to the Israeli Air Force command in Tel Aviv, Gallant stressed that “Israel’s enemies are considering” all their options due to Israeli forces’ past actions.
