The couple, who had not been seen by their neighbors for more than a week, were found dead on Tuesday in their home at Rua do Arrabalde dos Oleiros, 9, in the historic center of Castelo Branco. Everything indicates that the man died suddenly and the woman died due to lack of medical care.
“I was worried about them because I hadn’t seen Mr. Chico for over a week. I told the other neighbors that I was afraid something had happened to them. Yesterday morning, a relative of the landlady and a relative of the couple came into the room and found a dead man in the living room.
