Lobby regulation dominates public consultation on anti-corruption agenda

The public consultations on the anti-corruption agenda, which took place from July 2 to August 12, received about 40 proposals from 29 participants, including professional associations, companies, non-governmental organizations, independent experts, civil servants and other citizens. Lobby regulation dominated the public consultations. “The common thread in the materials and comments received is their constructive and purposeful nature in the fight against corruption.

Participants covered a wide range of topics, with lobbying regulation being one of the measures that received the most comments,” the Justice Ministry said in a statement. Other topics covered included “rules of ethics, transparency and integrity in the state,” “fraud management” and “register of interests.”
