Portugal’s transfer market closed at 23:59 on Monday, but the team’s players can still travel to other championships.
In Turkey, for example, players are allowed to register until September 13, which will allow Portuguese Joao Mario to become an official at Besiktas, arriving from Benfica, in addition to the closing of the transfer window in Portugal.
But it is not only in Turkey that the market closes later. In Croatia and Austria they close on September 5, in Belgium and Ukraine on September 6, in the Czech Republic on September 8, in Poland, Romania, Switzerland and Qatar they close on September 9, in Greece on September 11, in Russia on September 12 and finally in Serbia, where the deadline for recruiting reinforcements ends on September 13, according to Transfermarkt.
