Matheus’s death was pronounced on the spot, and his father-in-law was registered as seriously wounded and subsequently died.
“They took the life of my son, a 43-year-old boy. Now, when he was at the peak of his career, he fought a lot, was with manager Reinaldo Meirelles. They recorded his CD, it’s all on February 24th. I was very glad to see it. The brothers came and now it’s happening,” complained the singer’s father, Geraldo Sebastian de Carvalho. “They know that alcohol while driving is not good. The authorities are asking, but there is no point, people do not respect him,” he added.

The duo Ze Enrique and Matheus recorded the CD this February in Ribeirão Preto, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. On social networks, the artists have already announced the imminent release of a new album. Matheus started working with Ze Enrique this year, having previously worked with Conrado.
