A 10-year-old girl died after the car she was in, parked in the park of a Chinese store, was hit by a skid this Saturday morning in Vendôme, Paredes municipality.
The car in which the girl was located was hit and overturned from the impact. The child was squeezed under the car, and he was pronounced dead on the spot.
Two others were injured in the crash. One of them is the mother of the child, who was in the car, the other is the driver of the car that lost track and followed the EN15 highway.
Baltar firefighters arrived on the scene, as well as the GNR, who are investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident.
The injured were taken to Penafiel Hospital.
