A fake dentist has been discovered at a hotel in Vila Nova de Gaia to attract clients for further treatment abroad.
The Health Regulatory Authority said that this action was able to gather evidence confirming the practice of medical care by an unqualified professional, with the facts “reported to the State Ministry.”
The audit was carried out in cooperation with the Order of Dentists, an organization that has already condemned nine cases of illegal activities carried out by organizations in Brazil, Turkey, Venezuela and Eastern Europe since the beginning of the year.
The chairman of the Order, Miguel Pavan, said that this latest action took place last month and was aimed at carrying out treatment in Turkey.
