Breaking news on British politics as Rishi Sunak calls for an end to the anti-math mentality to “fundamentally transform” British education.

The Prime Minister was accused of repeating old policies when he announced a review of plans to ensure that students in England learn some form of math before the age of 18.

Critics said that Rishi Sunak was trying to divert attention from the ongoing teachers’ strike and shortage of classroom teachers.

In the speech, Mr. Sunak created “a cultural sense that it’s OK to be bad at math” and put kids at a disadvantage by not teaching them the analytical skills needed in today’s workplace.
