10 violent crime suspects arrested in Barcelos

This morning, the Judicial Police (SP) of Braga arrested ten people suspected of being members of two opposing factions that have carried out dozens of terrorist attacks in recent months, causing panic in various places in the municipality of Barcelos.

The police operation took place this morning in the Andorinhas camp in Arcoselo with the support of the PSP.

The ten people currently under arrest have been under investigation by the Judicial Police of Braga for several months following a shooting that took place outside a café in Arcoselo, Barcelos.

The investigation found that the suspects, who belonged to two opposing factions, had committed more than 30 violent crimes. They have been charged with dozens of crimes and are scheduled to appear for their first court hearing tomorrow at the Guimarães court.
