The Spanish authorities found the body of footballer David Garcia Mitogo in the Avia River, who went missing on the 11th of this month. The information was disseminated by the daily newspaper La Region.
The 32-year-old Equatorial Guinea international who played for Atlético Arnoia was also wanted on the Miño River. The Spanish press reported after his disappearance that David García Mitogo had sent disturbing messages to family members and teammates.
He left the house with the door open, and the cell phone was found on the bridge between Arnoia and Ribadavia. Authorities then launched a search at the confluence of the Avia River into Minho, culminating this Tuesday, to locate the lifeless body.
