This week, the Tax and Customs Service (AT) detained five people carrying about 27 kg of cocaine at the Humberto Delgado airport in Lisbon.
According to the released statement, AT explains that the passengers, who are Brazilians from São Paulo, tried to hide the drug in their luggage.
There is also a record of a woman among the detainees who had about two kilograms of the drug, who distributed the drug by taping four plates of cocaine to her body with tape.
“The drug seized by the AT and the passengers mentioned above were arrested and handed over to the Judicial Police as the competent police authority to investigate criminal offenses related to drug trafficking in accordance with the current legislation”, this could be read. .
