A father hit his 8th grade son at the door of the Escola Básica do Viso school in Viseu in front of the entire school community.
The episode took place late Thursday evening.
At first, the guardian was allegedly scolded by an employee, but he continued to display aggressive behavior, forcing director Rui Cardoso to intervene.
“I asked him to remain calm and said that he cannot attack a child at school or anywhere else because the law does not allow him to do so,” said the director of the Wiseau Group of Schools.
During the exchange of arguments between the guardian and the director, some confusion arose. Rui Cardoso was even pushed and he fell to the ground. “I slipped and fell, but the goal was always to solve the problem, and in the end it succeeded.”
GNR was called to the school and took care of the incident.
