This Friday, PSP announced the conditions and measures to be implemented at the Marquês de Pombal in Lisbon, should Benfica become Bwin League champions this Saturday.
According to the PSP statement, from 16:30 there will be traffic restrictions on Entrecampos/Marquês de Pombal, Praça de Espanha/Marquês de Pombal, Amoreiras/Marquês de Pombal, Restauradores/Marquês de Pombal.
According to the security service, it will be possible to enter the Marquis de Pombal Square from 17:00, after a PSP check and search, through the following access points:
- Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo and Rua Tomas Ribeiro
- Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo and Rua Martens Ferrao
- braamkap street
- Avenida da Liberdade and Alexandre Herculano
- Avenida Joaquim Antonio de Aguiar and Rua Castillo
- Avenida Duque de Loule and Rua Eça de Queiroz
- Avenida Antonio Augusto Aguiar
Perimeter objects such as knives and guns, syringes, hard hats, bottles, a laser, explosives, selfie sticks, hard rods, long horns, umbrellas and goggles will be monitored.
From 4:30 p.m., Lisbon metro stations Marquês de Pombal, Parque and Picoas will be closed for entry and exit of people.
