The Núcleo do Seixal of the Judicial District of Lisbon has thousands of emails and documents that need to be processed and thousands of requests that need to be submitted to the Ministry of State (MP), some of which are considered urgent due to the lack of bailiffs.
The information is contained in an official survey, to which Lusa had access, signed by the Judicial Administrator of the District of Lisbon, María Feliciana Salgado, which was briefed to the Presiding Judge of the District, Artur Cordeiro, the Public Prosecutor-Coordinator of the State Ministry, the Deputy Attorney General, Elena Gonçalves, and the Director of the Regional Department of Investigations and Criminal Affairs (DIAP) in Lisbon by Fernande Pego.
Overdue due to lack of treatment On May 17, there were about 1,500 emails in various Seixal Nucleus inboxes. “Restrictions and delays” are also mentioned in the processing of emails sent to the Specialized Integrated Domestic Violence Unit (SEIVD), a department that has more than two thousand papers pending with bailiffs, some of which are considered urgent or priority. . . .
