With a 3rd place finish and subsequent qualification to the Champions League qualifying rounds guaranteed in the previous round, Sp. Braga easily beat (3:0) the relegated P. Ferreira in the last game of the League. Good rehearsal for the Minho team for the Portuguese Cup final next Sunday in Jamor against Porto.
Braga’s superiority began to show itself very early. Bruma (8′) hit the post and on the same minute Alvaro Djalo made it 1-0. Pasense’s response was weak and after several tries Ricardo Horta (29′) made it 2-0. The difference simply did not increase, because Djalo hit the post, and even before the break, Gaitan scored in the best moment of the beaver, also with a blow to the iron.
In the 2nd half, Banza (51′) increased the score to 3:0 and the result allowed Artur Jorge to physically manage the team, with the departure of the influential Ricardo Horta and Al Musrati around the time of the game, and later (72′) Bruma, adding that goalkeeper Matheus was not even called.
