This Saturday, CMTV had more prime time viewers than the universal SIC, an unprecedented triumph in the history of Portuguese television.
Between 19:00 and 24:00, the period with the largest audience and advertising investment, CMTV received an 11.2% share yesterday against SIC’s 7.9%. If we limit the analysis to the period from 20:00 to 24:00, the advantage of CMTV remains with a share of 8.9% versus 8.3% for the universal SIC.
On a daily average, CMTV received an average share of 8.6%, more than three times that of its competitors, CNN Portugal, which received only 2.7%, and SIC Notícias, with 2.2%.
