The PSP arrested two people and identified more than two dozen during Benfica’s title celebration between late Saturday evening and early this Sunday morning.
ABOUT cm found out that one of the arrests was related to the invasion of the playing field during the match between the Reds and Santa Clara at the Estadio da Luz stadium, which will award the 38th title to the club under the leadership of Rui Costa.
The other was for drug dealing.
Among those identified, as our newspaper knows, are about two dozen people who committed thefts in the Marquis de Pombal Square, where the Benfica retinue went to celebrate the conquest.
The criminal process against them depends on the formal complaint of the victims.
It should also be noted that 14 protocols were issued for administrative offenses and two others for committing crimes.
The PSP Lisbon Command will release a statement later this Sunday with more details on the police operation.
