A yellow alert has been issued in the Porto area due to precipitation, “heavy rain and occasional hail” and thunderstorms “in the innermost part of the area” from 12:00 to 21:00.
An orange alert is issued by IPMA when there is a meteorological situation of moderate to high risk.
A yellow alert is issued whenever a risk situation arises for certain weather dependent activities.
