The Catalan base laia flores has become the first signing of Lointek Gernika Bizkaia for the next season and in the fourth confirmed player after the renovations recently announced from Itziar Ariztimuno, Rosó Busch and the Portuguese sofia da silva.
Flores, 27, arrives in Maloste from Spar Uni Gironawhere she has averaged 6.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in the Women’s League and 4.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists in the EuroLeague.
“Gernika is a team that has been doing very well for a long time and is always fighting with those above. Also, I know Mario (López) because I have had him in training categories with the national team”, said the player from Mataró in statements spread by his new club.
