Four people were injured and taken to a hospital in the Swedish city of Eskilstuna on Thursday after an incident qualified as an attempted murder, local police said.
According to Swedish television TV4, students from a local school were among the victims, although they were not at the school at the time of the incident.
“There was some kind of fight between several people. We don’t know if two or more gangs of people are involved, but there are several people,” a police spokesman said.
“There is no information that it is connected with terrorism,” he added.
Police said no arrests were made and declined to comment on the age or condition of the victims.
