NCIS and firefighters are looking for a woman in Cape Espichel in Sesimbra.

National Maritime Authority (AMN) agents and Sesimbra firefighters have been scouring Cape Espichel, Sesimbra since 6:30 am this Wednesday, looking for the 46-year-old woman.

The family filed a disappearance report on Tuesday afternoon at the PSP police station in Miraflores, municipality of Oeiras.

The GNR in the Sesimbra area was alerted and, according to an official AMN source, reported cm“The car of a 46-year-old woman was found at 2:20 am this Wednesday, parked next to the chapel at Cape Espichel in Sesimbra.”

“It contained identification documents,” the same source added.

The search began at dawn, and about a dozen AMN operatives and firefighters are currently mobilized. “The speedboat Instituto de Socorros a Náufragos will also start cruising along the coast,” the AMN source concluded.
