Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira crashed in Italy and left the Moto GP Grand Prix this Sunday in Mugello. The rider fell with 13 laps to go when he was in 13th position. The race was won by Italian Francesco Bagnaia.
The test marked the driver’s return to competition after suffering an injury at the Spanish Grand Prix on 30 April.
Miguel Oliveira started the race from 12th after his performance in the sprint race on Saturday. The Portuguese rider Aprilia started the race in 16th place in the individual classification.
The fall of the Portuguese driver was not the first of the day, Marc Marquez, the Spaniard who caused the fall of Miguel Oliveira at the Portuguese Grand Prix, had already fallen in front of him. Besides Mark, his brother Alex also crashed when they were third.
The podium of the race is closed by the Spaniard Jorge Martin, who took the second place, and the Frenchman Johann Zarco, who took the third place.
