About 30 young adults who were training at the Bsports football academy in Riba de Ave, in Vila Nova de Famalicán, were rescued and removed from the academy this Thursday. The operation was initiated by the SEF on Monday after the youths were found undocumented and with controlled movements.
The youth was taken away at 19:55 in six ambulances carrying non-urgent patients from the Fração, Vila do Conde and Marinhas da Cruz Vermelha delegations. Go to reception.
For a year now, the Northern Regional Directorate of the SEF has been investigating the activities of the academy, which is led by the President of the General Assembly of the League of Portugal, Mario Costa.
Young people came from South America, Africa and Asia promising professional contracts.
