Max Verstappen won the Canadian Grand Prix from pole position this Sunday, extending his lead in the Formula 1 championship to claim Red Bull’s 100th win.
The 25-year-old Dutchman led every lap and took his career to 41 wins, equaling three-time Brazilian champion Ayrton Senna.
Fernando Alonso finished second for Aston Martin at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, the Spaniard’s sixth podium finish in eight races, while Britain’s Lewis Hamilton, seven-time world champion, was third for Mercedes.
Red Bull has won every race this season.
Teammate and Verstappen’s nearest rival, Sergio Pérez, finished sixth, but received a bonus point for the fastest lap.
