As the future is still uncertain, sums were announced this Wednesday that could persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to sign Al-Nasr from Saudi Arabia.
According to the Spanish sports newspaper Brandthe Portuguese player is close to signing a two-and-a-half-season contract with the Saudi club and will earn around 200 million euros per season, including salary and promotional deals.
Ronaldo was left without a club after a conflict with the directors and manager of Manchester United and, according to a Spanish newspaper, there are no attractive offers for the player to stay in the European elite, so the option of Saudi Arabia could be accepted.
Al Nasr is coached by Frenchman Rudy Garcia and the team includes players well known to the Portuguese such as Talisca and Abubakar. The Riyadh-based team is aiming to regain its leadership in football in domestic competitions, as well as to assert itself on the map of this sport around the world thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo. Home games are played at the Mrsul Park stadium with a capacity of 25,000 spectators.
