SIRESP SA took over cm that the transition process of the Integrated Emergency and Security Networks of Portugal (SIRESP) from Altice to Nos was developed during the most critical period of the firefighting, from 15 July to 30 August, and the World Youth Conference, which will bring Pope Francis to Portugal between 2 and 6 August.
In an official response to our newspaper, SIRESP SA explains that “the transition of services to new contracts arising from an international public tender is already underway, starting in March.” “The plan is made taking into account the fire season and World Youth Day,” he confirmed.
The contracts, which will result in changes to the SIRESP network, adds the same source, “the duration is five years and will not affect the equipment/radios used by organizations that share the SIRESP network.”
Without specifying the costs of the transition process that has been underway since March, the same source concludes that the investments supporting this change are “already included in the cost of contracts signed under the International Open Tender.”
