Two suspects, a GNR traffic lieutenant and his brother, GNR Detachment Commander in Torre de Moncorvo, were apprehended by fellow guards from the Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) in Mirandela.
The two soldiers who became accused have been on sick leave ever since, avoiding contact with their colleagues and subordinates. The case is now under the jurisdiction of the Mirandela State Ministry. Two brothers were targeted.
The trial, which is hidden from justice, should soon find out about the accusation.
According to the Disciplinary Regulations of the PPR, whenever a member of the Guards is accused of criminal prosecution, the Prosecutor’s Office immediately reports this fact to the General Commander, which happened in this case, for subsequent disciplinary proceedings.
