The PSP Lisbon Metropolitan Command detained 15 people in an operation to combat drug trafficking in Lisbon. The operation started at 5 am and ended before 8 am, you know what cm.
The action took place in several parishes of the municipality of Lisbon, Amadora and Odivelas, with a special focus on Bairro da Cruz Vermelha. Three units of firearms, ammunition and cartridges were also seized.
The PSP said in a statement that the operation, which began at 5:00 am, is executing 22 warrants to search homes.
According to police, the suspects “are responsible for operating direct-to-consumer kiosks, for storing and distributing drugs at points of sale, and for significantly affecting the sense of security of some residents.”
The investigation, conducted by the 1st Division of the Department of Investigations and Criminal Affairs (DIAP) of Lisbon, investigates several suspects associated with drug trafficking, and this activity is carried out mainly in the Cruz-Vermelha area. , in the municipality of Lisbon.
The operation is supported by several departments of the PSP, namely the COMETLIS Criminal Investigation Unit, several Rapid Response Teams, and a special police unit through the Intervention Corps.
Teams from the National Institute of Emergency Medical Services (INEM) are also present in support of this operation.
