Argentine player Di Maria landed this Thursday at Tires airfield. Benfica’s latest signing to be presented next to the statue of Eusebio, opposite the Estádio da Luz.
On Wednesday, the footballer was confirmed as a reinforcement for the Eagles. The presentation takes place at 7:04 pm, hinting at the founding year of the incarnations (1904).
This is the 35-year-old’s second spell at Benfica. The first one was between 2007 and 2010.
After leaving Benfica, the player who trained at Rosario Central in Argentina went through Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG and Juventus.
In Portugal, he won the Portuguese championship and two league cups.
