Four men, aged between 37 and 44, were arrested this Wednesday by the Murtosa GNR for stealing base metals in the municipality of Murtosa.
Guards on routine patrol surprised four suspects in an unoccupied dwelling stealing aluminum from windows and doors of the building.
Authorities also seized seven power tool batteries, six pairs of gloves, four pliers, three angle grinder cutting discs, three screwdrivers, three knives, three crowbars, two angle grinders, two hammers, two saws, iron, two picks and €253 in cash.
The detainees will be present this Friday in the Judicial Court of Aveiro, where they will be heard in the first judicial interrogation. As a result, coercive measures will be taken.
