Prime Minister António Costa declined to comment this Saturday on the latest resignation of the government, Defense Minister Marco Capitao Ferreira, and said he devotes little time to political analysis.
“You know that I spend little time on political analysis and do what I have to do, which is to manage. Today we will focus on what matters in the life of the Portuguese. To be honest, I feel that people are concerned that the issues are completely different,” said Antonio Costa.
The prime minister stressed that “the impact of inflation, rising incomes, social network problems” are some of the topics that concern the people of Portugal.
António Costa is in Sintra, at Montserrat Palace, for an informal meeting of the Council of Ministers, which is held annually.
