The Spanish newspaper Marca reported on Monday that Cristiano Ronaldo will become a Saudi Al-Nasr player from January 1st.
The signing bonus will be about one hundred million euros, and the Portuguese player will earn about 200 million per season.
The contract will run for two and a half seasons, as the Spanish newspaper pointed out last week.
Thus, the Portuguese star becomes the highest paid athlete in the world.
In Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo will be teammates with former Porto player Vicent Abubacar and former Benfica player Anderson Taliska. You will also meet French coach Rudy Garcia.
Al-Nasr has not won a Saudi Arabian championship since 2019 and is looking to regain dominance in domestic competition with this astronomical signing.
