Al-Nasr Cristiano Ronaldo announces new additions

Ivorian footballer Seko Fofana from Lens will join Al-Nasr on a three-year contract, the Saudi club coached by Portugal’s Luis Castro and featuring Cristiano Ronaldo announced on Tuesday.

“Give everything for this badge,” wrote Al Nassr, announcing the signing of the midfielder on his official Twitter account, posting a video of Fofana saying he is going to the Riyadh team to “run, dribble, defend, watch, score and win.”

Fofana, 28, was a finalist this year for the best player in the French league, awarded by the French Players’ Union for the best player in the French league, which was won by Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé.

On 18 August 2020, he signed a four-year contract with Lens, where he achieved some success, including the Marc-Vivien Foet award for the best African player in the French first division in the 2021/22 season.

Al Nasr’s announcement comes just a week after FIFA imposed sanctions on the Saudi club, banning the registration of new players over outstanding debts.

The team led by Luis Castro, which includes Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo, is currently training in Portugal, where they lost 5-0 to Celta de Vigo on Monday in the first leg of the Algarve Trophy ahead of Benfica on Thursday. as well as in the south of the country.
