A man was arrested and a woman was injured in a fight between fans during the first Football League 1 match between Sp. Braga and Famalicao.
In accordance with Newspapersome fans were physically harassed in the final minutes of the game and the PSP’s first intervention was not enough to contain the clashes as the intervention police had to be called.
The incident took place near the bench of Braga, and blows could be seen exchanged between the fans, when a woman had to be carried away from the municipal stadium of Braga on a stretcher.
A stoppage-time goal from Spanish striker Oscar Aranda saw Famalican win 2-1 at home against Sporting de Braga in the first leg of the 2023/24 Portuguese Football League I season.
