In the first London derby of the season, all the goals of the match were scored in the first half, with Argentina’s Romero in the 11th minute and Brazil’s Emerson Royal in the 45+4th minute for Spurs (8th in 2022/23) with the help of reinforcements of Maddison (ex-Leicester City) in both bids.
On the side of Brentford, who were in ninth place last season, Cameroonian Mbeumo in the 26th minute from the penalty spot and Congolese Wissa in the 36th minute scored goals for the home team.
